Engagement rate calculator
See your real engagement rate in seconds and how it stacks up against the benchmarks.
Great — your audience is very engaged.
Engagement rate is the single best signal of how active and interested your audience is. It matters more than raw follower count — brands, sponsors and the algorithm all weigh it heavily.
To use the calculator, enter your follower count and the average likes and comments on a typical post. Your engagement rate updates instantly, along with a benchmark verdict so you know where you stand.
If your rate is below average, the fastest fixes are better hooks, consistent posting, and a base of real engagement to give new posts early momentum.
Frequently asked questions
How is engagement rate calculated?
The most common formula is (likes + comments) ÷ followers × 100. This tool uses that formula. Some marketers also add saves and shares when that data is available.
What is a good engagement rate?
Under 1% is low, 1–3.5% is good for most accounts, 3.5–6% is high, and above 6% is excellent. Smaller accounts usually have higher rates than large ones.
Does buying followers lower engagement rate?
Low-quality bot followers do — they never interact, which drags your rate down. That is exactly why we deliver real-account engagement and recommend pairing it with consistent content.
